Project Description
Contour performed a Phase I ESA and Phase II Site Investigation to investigate environmental concerns on this site prior to closure and redevelopment activities. The Phase II findings indicted the presence of petroleum constituents in the soil due to a release from the UST system. Contour excavated, removed, transported, and disposed of three (3) 10,000-gallon petroleum tanks.
After removing the USTs, Contour vertically delineated the extent of soil contamination to below detection limits above the shallow groundwater table. Contour has since secured a formal NFA letter from the GA EPD USTMP.
