Project Description
Contour’s team performed environmental Investigations on a retail shopping center in North Georgia. Contour’s staff discovered a tetrachloroethene (PCE) release at this site. Investigation included advancement/installation of ten (10) Type II monitoring wells and twenty (20) direct-push (DPT) soils borings in order to delineate the contaminant plume. A one-mile radius sensitive receptor survey was also performed by Contour. At the completion of the plume delineation, Contour prepared/submitted a Prospective Purchaser Corrective Action Plan (PPCAP) for GA EPD for “Limitation of Liability” processing under Georgia’s Reuse and Redevelopment Act (Brownfield).
